Kodiak cakes had given me this wonderful opportunity to review buttermilk & honey and whole wheat, oat & honey and apron. Kodiak cakes restoring the flapjack tradition of years ago flapjack was the hearty mainstay of frontiermen from Frigid Yukon and to Alaska. I love cooking and one of my favorites are waffles and pancakes when i got to review both flapjack and waffle mix i immediately started to cook. The first thing i put on was the super cute apron that states on the apron "uleash your inner bear" so cute in color black. I took out my waffle maker and the directions to cook the waffle mix is one cup of water and one cup of waffle mix but the box also stated for thicker pancakes use less water. When i was going to cook the whole wheat, oat & honey on my waffle maker i decided to use as it was directed and as you can see from picture above the waffles came out so thick and absolutely beautiful golden brown color very lovely the taste so deliciously soft and burst full of flavor of whole wheat. The next one which i had fun cooking was the buttermilk & honey i wanted to make pancakes but i also used less water for a thicker pancake and you can see from picture above how scrumptious the pancakes came out with that deep dark golden color and the fluffiness drove me nuts love how thick my pancakes came out and the smell of buttermilk was divine loved it and also my family enjoyed it too. So scrumptious i had my bread with lite tuna fish w/ lite mayo, i also had my bread with lots of different lite and diet recipes and most of all with P28 peanut butter white chocolate which is very thick goes on my sandwich smoothly and its excellent for the mornings to get my energy going and plus when i want to eat something quick but don't want to cook or boil any foods i have the two choices of peanut butter to choose from and makes a fast sandwich but most of all the breads and peanut butters are non fattening. The peanut butter is not as thick peanut butter but it taste so good! i couldn't believe that its diet theirs one thing about the two peanut butters their not that sweet both just has a great taste without me having the guilt of gaining weight. Flat bread so yummy extremely satisfying, the bagels very thick, had it with scramble eggs since eggs has protein and the bread also so i have that extra boost of protein and the bagel goes great with lite mayo very delicious. The bagel has big oats on top of it very soft tasting oats. All P28 bread fills me up gives me great energy for my kick boxing workouts and cardio. Coffee cake time! I was given this wonderful opportunity to review Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cake from My Grandma's of New England. I received these wonderful 4 bottles of IvanaBitch flavored vodka for review in flavors of whipped cream, coconut, tobacco and menthol tobacco. I absolutely love the name of these vodka ivanabitch makes the vodka sounds really cool and fun to drink and have in parties. Ivanabitch is a vodka but with an attitude just like its name. The first one which i was excited to try is coconut love the smooth taste it has very soft texture has a clear liquid color doesn't dry my mouth very tasty vodka i really can taste the burst full of flavor coconut has outstanding taste. I love drinking vodkas but their two flavors i had never tried and never heard of and its tobacco and menthol tobacco both very strong heavy seriously deep aroma yet its light and crisp taste. Menthol is absolutely fun to drink the menthol has such a wonderful taste i had it just like that on the rocks and i also had it with some soda either way it still taste great very good quality vodka and the other vodka is tobacco which is absolutely divine love the refreshing taste it has quite elegant and fancy this vodka would be great for when having guests over. For my review i received flavors of coconut and citron, the coconut was the first one i tried it has a smooth taste very sweet creamy gentle on palate never made my throat feel ruff and dry like other vodkas does and the aroma smells like sweet fresh coconut it was so delightful to reviewed the coconut vodka absolutely so smooth as shown in picture above the coconut vodka is clear has no coloring, i had my coconut vodka with and without soda and still has the same great fruity taste. Citron has a fresh crisp aroma of lemon zest and meyer lemon smells so good love it extremely soft taste on palate it is a very refreshing vodka never drys the mouth.
I love the way both vodkas was so well packed as you can see from picture above is a very strong plastic which was sealed tightly i have to give this company a grade A for packing. The coffeecake connection company had sent me a sampler pack of gluten free cakes. The company has great selections of coffeecakes original and gluten free of their signature cakes, cake of the month, variety of gift packs and so much more. The box is so elegant so perfect to give as a gift for holidays, birthdays or just any occasion.
In the sampler pack on the bottom of the cakes on the plastic wrap has the names of the flavor cakes i had received pumpkin cake, triple berry, double chocolate cake, apple caramel cinnamon and the small cakes you see from picture above is called bitty bite which will be available on 2014. I have to say how very well packed were each of the coffeecakes they were individually wrapped in plastic. I was sent this very cute bag and inside was five vitamints. Vitamints is so different it has many purposes such as for focus, calm, immune, energy and multi for women but "vitamints are therapeutic their not mints" but it does contains delicious flavor of mints for breath freshening and improve taste. Each vitamints has a purpose for the body system i personally enjoyed reviewing all of them which all have the same taste of mint flavor but the mint flavor are so strong and the aroma too and thats what i like about vitamints that i can actually taste real natural mints with no added sugar, artificial coloring, preservatives, yeast, starch, gluten, lactose or dairy products. What an honor to review Duff Goldman cakes i was sent to review white mocha cake along with chocolate frosting and white frosting. Check out the other products i had reviewed from duff Duff mini cupcakes nonstick baking pan review and cake mix and pan review. I must express how i really truly feel about duff he makes the most scrumptious cake mix ever! and the one i reviewed from him is the white mocha which has very easy instructions and easy to make. As you know i love baking but theirs one thing that really i had difficulties which others may find easy to do but everytime i do swirls in cake it could never come out the way it supposed to look and when i got this opportunity to review a cake with swirls i immediately jumped for joy. Instructions are easy all you need is two 8 inch round pans, 3 large eggs, 1 1/3 cup water, 2 tbsp oil then for espresso powder which you see in picture above the small package you sprinkle 1 tablespoon evenly over batter let it sit for 2-3 minutes then fold carefully and very gently into the batter and thats it very simply i was so hoping that the swirls would come out right. As it was baking in 350 degrees in oven i could smell the espresso smelled so scrumptious. Once both cakes are done and ready to put the filling which is the chocolate frosting after that i then spread evenly the white frosting all over cakes and chocolate frosting with a spatula spreading it evenly over the white frosting.
You can see from picture above the chocolate frosting in the middle which is the filling, the swirls of chocolate frosting over the white frosting and finally the whole cake looking so deliciously scrumptious and smelling like really espresso. The taste is amazing and the texture of the cake is so fluffy and extremely thick i had my cake with coffee and it was totally of what i had imagined the espresso cake would be with a side of cup of coffee very heavenly.
